Markie Post is a noted American actor best known for her roles as the public defense Christine Sullivan in NBCs sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABCs drama show The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBSs sitcom Hearts Afire. In addition to acting, she also has experience in game shows. Her two sisters and daughter were nurtured by her father, a scientist Richard F. Post, and poet Marylee Post in Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School in Los Angeles was her school of choice. She participated as a cheerleader. She was briefly a student at Pomona College and graduated from Lewis & Clark College in Oregon. The previous marriage she had was to Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross (actor/writer) is Post's husband since 1982. They have two daughters. Post is a role model for Hollywood for her role as a great actress and exemplary mother and wife.
