Actor Katherine Heigl is opening up about how she was born into an environment that was a "white bubble" and how this realization has affected how she parents her adopted multiracial children. In recent episodes of "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy", and "Grey's Anatomy" actress Katherine Heigl revealed that she didn't care about her skin tone, until she met her adopted sister from South Korea. "I I asked my sister Meg whether she'd been treated in one manner when she went going out with us parents and in a different manner when she went out on her own without anyone else. Meg responded "Oh I do, each and every moment!" Heigl told Parents, "That made me realise that I had been so ignorant." She admitted that she was angry, but she felt the need to use this anger to support her children. Heigl's husband Josh Kelley and their son Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr. 4. together for thirteen years. Their child Nancy Leigh was adopted from South Korea by the couple in 2009; Adalaide is a Black 8-year-old girl was adopted by the couple in 2012.
