Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson gained world-wide recognition as Buffy Summers. In the cult classic Buffy the Vampire Slayer, she played the role of Rebecca Becky Granger. As a California native Swanson had a passion for acting since she was young. Her acting career began by appearing in numerous commercials. The first time she appeared on television was the NBCs It's Your Move sitcom show from 1984. The following year, in the romantic comedy Pretty in Pink, Swan made her debut on the big screen. Swan is known for her lisp of blonde and the breathless sound of her voice. She's recently shifted from playing main characters to secondary characters. The actress won the Young Artist Award in 1989 as the best Young Actress in Horror or the Mystery Motion Picture in the film Flowers in the Attic.
