Molly Tarlov is an American actor best known for her starring role as Sadie Saxton in the teen comedy-drama television series Awkward, since 2011. Tarlov is the youngest child of two and was raised in Manhattan. As a 10-year-old Tarlov was a character in the role of Mrs. Peterson as part of an Little Red School House production of Bye Bye Birdie. This was highly acclaimed by an audience comprised of seventh graders. As she grew older she attended summer camps at the Interlochen Center for the Arts and in Paris studying with NYU's Tisch. Bennington College granted her a bachelor's degree in theater. The Atlantic Theater Company is where she also studied. The LAByrinth Theater Master Class, Molly could integrate writing into her acting. Molly changed her winter coat in exchange for glasses in black, and set off for Los Angeles. It wasn't long before she landed a 3-word role on iCarly, which attracted the interest to her parents. Molly has made a number of shows on television and has played the character of Caitlin in Winnie Holzman, Savannah Dooley's ABC's Family series Huge. Molly is a professional basketball player who is convinced that she's better than she really is. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
