Abbie Cornish is an Australian actor. Born on the 7th of August, 1982. Cornish is best known for her performances in films such as Heidi, Fanny Brawne and Sweet Pea (in Sucker Punch), Lindy and RoboCop (2011) as well as Sarah as well as Geostorm (2017). Cornish has won her very first Screen Actors Guild Award in the ensemble cast for this film. Gilpin kept securing TV guest appearances over the next few years until she got her first break in 2013 when she was offered the role of a regular on Nurse Jackie. As she played Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin appeared in 34 episodes in the show prior to when Nurse Jackie was cancelled in June 2015. In the same year Gilpin appeared in mystery-thriller True Story (2015).
